How quickly can an inspector come?
Usually we try to plan inspections in advance, for example 1 day in advance. But if you need an urgent cargo inspection, the inspector can come to you within 1 hour of agreeing on the terms of work.
Is it possible to reduce the cost of services?
Yes, it is possible. The website shows the basic cost of work in the case of a single treatment. If you sign a long-term contract and if a certain level of consistency of treatment is reached, it is possible to review the cost of services downwards. You can discuss these terms with our managers.
Do you have licenses and certificates?
Mandatory licensing of survey companies was abolished in 2006. In spite of this, we regularly undergo voluntary certification according to international standards. In addition to this, our inspectors have a university degree in their field of expertise. For example, fruit and vegetable inspections are handled by employees with a university degree in agronomy.
How can I pay for my order?
A contract for surveying services will be signed with your company before the work begins. You can pay for the services rendered after the inspection through the company’s current account. Together with the inspection report we will send you the closing certificates and the invoice.
How quickly will we get the report?
The inspection report is prepared within 1 day of the inspection of the shipment. If you need an urgent report, we can send it to you within 3 hours after the inspection is complete. We can also send you information about the condition of the shipment directly from the site of the inspection, online.
Do you work in China or Morocco?
Global Survey will be happy to provide you with survey services in 16 countries of the world, as well as in almost any city of the Russian Federation and CIS countries. If the Client asks, we are ready to go anywhere.
Do you have the necessary equipment?
The inspector’s main tool is a camera. But some types of cargo require special tools for their inspection, so each inspector has the necessary set of equipment to conduct a full-fledged inspection. For example, a fruit and vegetable inspector carries a refractometer, a nitrate tester, a thermometer with a probe, a pyrometer, and a scale.
What standards do you use to check shipments?
During the inspection, we rely on international standards and GOSTs. You can also submit your terms of reference for the inspection of the parameters you need. For example, a finished product specification or an excerpt from a contract for the supply of goods.
